The album is covered with gorgeous handwoven antique linen that has a beautiful silky sheen. The edge of the front cover is embellished with a strip of wonderful vintage broderie anglaise lace, and the inside covers are lined with a gold-flecked paper. The pages are sewn with white linen thread using a long stitch binding technique where the stitches are visible on the outside spine of the book as well. The structure of this binding allows the pages to lay completely flat (even when the album is full of photos), making it a pleasure to leaf through the pages.

This album can hold up to 32 standard size photos (using just one side of the page, which is better for your photos), but you can fit plenty more of Fujifilm Instax Mini photos in there! The spine is wide enough to accommodate decent a stack of photos without the album bulging in an unsightly manner.

The extra width of the spine also makes these books great for creating art journals and artists' books containing bulky collages and other mixed media creations done in dry-ish media.

You can use photo corners or photo adhesive to attach your photos to the pages - please do not use adhesives not intended to be used on photos as they will eventually ruin your photos.
