It's Tour de France time again and I turn into the most boring person to interact with, but on the other hand I get hours of crafty things fitted into my afternoon. Currently it means making semi-secret wedding stuff for a friend, next week it may be something entirely different, but there's still a strange sense of continuity since I rarely have a routine to follow. I know I should have as it would make life so much easier. The closest I get to a routine is by following a sport I barely understand. I'm not a fan of cycling myself. I learned to ride a bike very late, I was maybe twelve then, and now it's been seven or eight years since I last rode my bike to school (also the last time I lived in a place not entirely taken over by cars, now I feel much safer going everywhere by foot). This spring I took a little ride and was certain I'd fall over when I hit a pine cone. Clearly, not my sport at all, but a good sport to follow nonetheless.
