After hours and hours of listing things to Etsy it's all here. And my Poppytalk Handmade table is ready for opening too. Their Holiday & Gift-themed Market will go live on Monday 17th. I'm dying (and trying) to find some gorgeous Christmas gifts there before it's too late for international shipping.
My new Gocco printed Hogweed designs are inspired by many things: my vintage botany books, the various umbellifers I see every day on my way to work, and most of all the mental image of said flowers standing alone in the snow, frosty and white. I'm hoping the fall would soon end. It's too dark and too rainy. I wish it would snow soon, but I guess a rainy winter is the price I have to pay for living by the sea in the southern Finland. Imagination saves many bad days. The Hogweed line is designed to be used with imagination, to arouse imagination and to look beautiful.
Books in bags are back. Coptic bound journals in lavender, charcoal, dark teal and natural linen. The books are accompanied with charcoal or natural linen drawstring bags. The books are approximately 4.3"x6"x0.9" (10,8x15,2x2,2cm) and they have 72 smooth pearl gray colored pages with torn edges. Sewn with waxed natural linen thread.
A facelift for the good old Book of good things. Now available in seven different colorways, more may be on their way.
Paperiaarre pencil cases have proven to be a great success among their users. Grown up pencil cases are really hard to find (at least here in Finland) but the Hogweed pencil cases are just about as classy as a pencil case can get! Good things come in fours apparently: black, lavender, teal and charcoal. Ooh, the charcoal linen, it's to die for!
New brooches too! These are my new favorite. I may need to make myself a couple more of these. Various colors, more to come, as soon as time travel is possible if not sooner!
Of course there's a lot more in the shop, I'll blog about those things later. I've been a workhorse this week, so maybe a night off would be a good idea today! I had the most terrible day at work today and literally had tears in my eyes when the day was done, but I'm glad to have something nice to blog about and cheer me up a bit.
