Hello everybody!
It's been a while since I last wrote. The move went pretty well and almost all boxes are unpacked. I even managed to make a book last Wednesday! I took last weekend off and made a little trip to my parents'. On Saturday I went to a craft fair with mom and my brother. It could have been more exciting, but I didn't have too high expectations in the first place. We made some good finds and I got a wonderful book as an early birthday present.
I bought a lovely sheet of handmade paper, that I was about to frame, but all of a sudden I knew the perfect project for it. Expect something romantic in the near future.
This book too is a bit more romantic than my usual ones. Dusky raspberry red combined with natural linen. This one is case bound in large binding style. The book itself is not very large (23,2x21x1,5cm) but substantial enough to be used as a guest book or as a sketch book. 84 smooth off-white pages with hay colored end papers.
Spring is on its way. At least in my mind. The weather isn't on my side right now. There's snow again, but I doubt it will be that way for more than a couple of days. I want a proper winter or a proper spring. This is confusing. I'm making things that I would normally consider too girly or just weird. (I consider most things weird.)
Can I have this one in green? Preferably growing outside my window? Our plants look pretty sad, the move confused them too. They don't really know yet where the sun is.
Both my give away card sets have arrived while I was packing and unpacking! Go read how wonderful things Starashan and Sarah wrote. They took better photos of the cards too!
