eco jotters
Sometimes I like to make something super simple, easy, and affordable. These eco jotters fit the bill perfectly! Both the pages and the cover are made out of recycled kraft material, and the jotters are sewn with colored linen thread. There are also plaited ties for closure, making the notebook even more purse-friendly.
Whether or not it's appropriate to bring up the subject of Christmas at this time of the year, it's something that already occupies my mind on daily basis. Almost 90% of my customers live on the other side of the Atlantic, so my shop's holiday shopping season takes place a bit earlier than usual. This year I'm trying to be better prepared from early on, so that you can find more items to choose from, and from more varied price groups, too. These eco jotters are super affordable, and would make perfect gifts for friends, co-workers, teachers, and all sorts of Secret Santa occasions!
I'm still keeping my editions very limited, so there's only one or two in each color available. I just don't like the idea of cranking out bulk products, even though I get repeated requests to replicate something unique I've made earlier (which btw is something I don't do). I'd rather lose some business than lose the joy of creating unique pieces or tiny limited editions.
These eco jotters measure 12,3x16,1cm / 4.8"x6.3", and there are approximately 52 pages of 80 gsm recycled gray-brown paper. The fore-edges are reinforced with a folded flap that can double as a bookmark. Should you want to own one of these, or five, or all ten, you can find the listing for these right here.
More holiday specials are coming soon! I'm also making more one of a kind books for the shop, so do not despair if you're after something 100% unique. Next week I'm heading off to London in search of inspiration and fabulous materials, but my blog will follow the usual schedule even while I'm rummaging my favourite antique markets and paper shops! Any last-minute travel tips are welcome, as always!
