Crafty Synergy

It looks like the whole world is trying to make me happy! I'm extremely proud to let you know that Patricia interviewed me to Crafty Synergy. As soon as you're finished here you should go check out that wonderful blog. I started squealing of delight after receiving a message from Patricia asking for an interview. Crafty Synergy has interviewed almost all the people whose work I really admire here in the blog world. This is a tremendous honor for a girl who just does what she likes to do.

Rhonda from My Handbound Books decided to pass along the Shibumi award to me. The award is originally created by Hawk.

Shibumi is a Japanese term which used in the following context is a noun. Its meaning refers to a particular aesthetic of simple, subtle, and unobtrusive beauty which can be applied to almost anything.

I would like to pass on this award to the following bloggers:

Mrs Eliot Books
Satsuma Press

Despite of being in an incoherent state of mind this past weekend I managed to finish a new book. I've been repairing an old ABC-book that has been time consuming and nothing too energizing. There might still be some time for creativity this week. I'll be adding books and jewelry to my Etsy shop along the week. Don't forget to visit frequently!

Etsy has been spoiling me too: my book was on the front page, and on the next day, my treasury was there! It makes me really happy.

So here's the newcomer:

This is a long stitch binding with limp, surprisingly sturdy, leather covers. The leather used here is high quality, vegetable tanned goatskin. The crow is a back pared leather on-lay, embedded to the beige leather. Sewn with heavily waxed dark brown linen thread. 92 pages of gray, acid free, 100% recycled paper. 5.8"x5.7"x0.5" (14,8x14,4x1,3cm)
